Even if the blog hasn’t taken any holidays this year, I have. I’ve been in Spain, exploring the province of Málaga for a few days and enjoying the rest of the time with my family and friends… A few well deserved days of relax in warm and sunny Spain and not doing much. But now I’m back in Switzerland and it doesn’t feel like summer is over at all. It’s still warm and sunny here too, days aren’t too short yet. I feel there’s time for a few more adventures before autumn comes…
It’s been an interesting summer. Besides the hikes, we have received a few visits. We haven’t had a lot of time to get bored these past few months! With these visits I had the opportunity to explore some of my favorite cities and landscapes again. Of course, Zurich has been one of them! I love to walk around Zurich and show all its beautiful little streets and alleys, its parks, the lake, the monuments and best spots. And summer is such a beautiful season in Zurich! Everything is green and full of color, there’s always people swimming in the lake or the badis, there are terraces everywhere… I loved the calm and relaxing atmosphere of this city during summer.
During these past months I’ve been collecting photos from this beautiful season in Zurich. Most of them are from sunny and beautiful summer days, but there are also some from the beginning of the season, when we had a few moody and rainy days… I wanted to post them before the warm days are over and give way to the golden tones of the next season. I hope you like them!

This brings back memories of Zurich – except without the greenery.
I remember Zurich didn’t leave a great impression on you… but I’m pretty sure if you visit the city again in a warmer day, you’ll love it!! 😊 hope these photos make you want to give it a second chance, hehehe
Have a wonderful week, Amanda!!

Muchas gracias Patito!!!!!! Espero que las fotos te tienten a venir a visitarme!!!! 😊 sé que la parte de los escaparates bonitos te gustaría mucho mucho!!! 😝
What a beautiful city shown through your amazing photos.
Thanks a mil, Anne!! Zurich is beautiful, that’s why the photos from here are always nice… or maybe it’s because I love the city so much… I think it always helps when you like a place, it’s easier to find the beautiful side of it 🙂
Love the cobbled flowery streets photos. And that fountain full of roses… amazing!
Thanks a mil, Véro!! Ah, that fountain is one of the most romantic spots in Zurich!! Once I asked the florist that puts all the flowers there when and why she does that… she told me that she doesn’t do it often, but when she wants to cheer up the city after a week of grey skies or something like this… I find it so lovely!! 🙂
What a fabulous story. And what a magical role to play!
