Spring began officially yesterday, so I though this is the perfect time for the last snowy post of this season.
My trip to Zurich in January gave me a lot of opportunities to capture the beauty of the city under many different conditions. I enjoyed sunny and cloudy days, foggy mornings, a little snow storm and even some rain. This changing weather also implied some challenges and I learn a lot from them.
These photographs are from one of those foggy mornings. I started that day in central Zurich, with a visit to the Fraumünster cloister, and I went next to Zurichhorn, a beautiful park at the eastern shore of Zurichsee (the lake of Zurich). The fog, the snow and the low light allowed me to capture some minimalist compositions. Once it desapeared, I had some fun photographing some of the birds I found in the park. As I said above, lots of different opportunities to learn!
