The last weeks have been a bit dull for me. Since I came back from Zurich, we have been visited by storms Gertrude, Henry and Imoge… It’s been rainy, windy and cold, not a very good combination to go out and explore with the camera. Sometimes it’s so windy that you can’t even be standing while taking a photograph…
The last time I went out with my camera was during storm Henry, three weeks ago. Only extreme wind was forecasted for that day, so I decided to go to the Poolbeg lighthouse hoping to see great waves crashing against the lighthouse… The wind was strong, but unfortunately for me, there weren’t such huge waves and it starting pouring on me. I’m glad I didn’t go back home without taking any photographs. A few minutes later, the rain went away and I could enjoy a gorgeous view: a beautiful and intense rainbow close to the red Poolbeg lighthouse.
