After the long weekend flying and walking around the upper side of Manhattan and Brooklyn, I spent the next Monday wandering around one of the prettiest parts of the city: the Greenwich Village. The first time I went to New York I didn’t pay much attention to this neighborhoood, but this time I discovered a beautiful area plagued with little houses, tree-lined streets, parks full of colourful tulips and giant peonies and pretty little shops, cozy cafes and restaurants. A proper village inside the huge city.
The day started a bit moody and foogy but as the hours passed, the sun came out and it was a delight to walk on those beautiful streets. I also visited the Union Square Market and the famous High Line, which was crowded with tourists.
At sunset I went to the Brooklyn Bridge Park. The first time I went to New York I tried to take a long exposure photo of Lower Manhattan from there, but I didn’t know exactly how to take it and I didn’t have a tripod then. So I returned to the same place, this time with a bit more of practice and a tripod, and finally I could take the photo that I wanted two years ago!

Great photos and tour through Greenwich Village.
Thanks a million, Anne!! So glad you like the post! I had such a nice time exploring this area (you can’t imagine how many photos I took only in this neighborhood, hahaha) with all the flowers, the green trees, the sun… it was perfect!! I loved it! 🙂
Have a wonderful weekend!!
