A few weeks ago I visited Dublin zoo. Last time I went to the zoo I was 9 years old, so I can say it was a long time ago. I love to photograph animals. Our family dogs are my favourite models when I go to Spain, but I only see them a few times a year. The Dublin parks and rivers are also good places to capture squirrels, birds or the beautiful wild fallow deers of Phoenix Park. But I don’t have the opportunity to photograph more exotic wild animals, so a visit to the zoo was the perfect excuse to practice with different models than usual, some of them already extinted in their natural enviroments. The Dublin zoo is small, but it has a beautiful selection of animals, specially from Asia and Africa.
This is a sample of my favourite photos (and animals) from that day. Hope you like them!
